Daylight Savings Time Adjustment

Beginning this year, The US Energy Policy Act of 2005 has extended Daylight Saving Time (DST). This change will impact Kodak DryView Laser Imagers and Kodak Medical Imaging Interface Devices, requiring a system clock adjustment on or soon after Sunday March 11, 2007. As such, we are providing you with instructions for making this change (see attachment below).

Effects on Kodak DryView Laser Imagers and Kodak Medical Imaging Interface Devices.
The internal clocks in DryView Imagers and in some Kodak interface devices will be inaccurate for several weeks at the beginning and end of the DST period. This may affect the date printed at the bottom of films and the time stamps in internal logs and in image queues. The effect will not be the same for all Imagers and interface devices. The products affected are listed on page 2 in the "download instructions" pdf. In most cases, there will be only minor or no effect on the operation of your imager or interface device. If there is an undesirable effect at your site, you will usually be able to manually adjust the DST beginning and ending dates to eliminate clock errors.

If you have any concerns or questions, please follow the normal process for problem resolution through the Technical Support Center by calling 1-800-328-2910.
